BrainWave

An easy-to-use complete software environment enabling detailed setup, processing and analysis of your experiments with the BioCAM platform. This powerful application takes advantage of multicore processors technology and of 64-bit environments for speeding up your data analysis. Live visualization includes conventional raw data from selected channels as well as an innovative mode for the visualization of the full-array recorded signals as activity movies. This allows you to get insights on the spatial distribution of propagating activity patterns and sources. The analysis components include a sophisticated event detector and tools based on first order statistics to extract parameters such as network-wide mean firing rate, inter spike interval, network inter spike interval. Data can be easily extracted to MATLAB® for your ad-hoc analysis tools. BrainWave customization with your MATLAB® algorithms is possible as a service.

BrainWave Extended is shipped together with the BioCAM system and now includes the new real-time spike detection add-on on 4096 channels. Your benefits:

BrainWave Freeware is a free version available from the download page. It is a fully working version featuring all the standard tools, with the exception of the ones that require the BioCAM acquisition systems (e.g., online spike detection add-on). With the free version you can play data acquired with the system (you can find some demo files here), analyze them and export to MATLAB® for running your custom algorithms. This is your first step to get into the BioCAM technology and the ideal choice if you collaborate with a research laboratory equipped with the 3Brain technology.
